Comparison of Siena & Lilli

This is a comparison of Siena & Lilli at 4 weeks of age (both wearing the same dress and posed in the poof chair). There is definitely a strong resemblance.

Blueberry Smoothie

Stefano made a blueberry smoothie the other night and Siena got to enjoy her own cup of it. As you can see, she REALLY enjoyed it!

Lilli at 4 weeks

This is Lilli at 4 weeks. This was the dress that I wore when I was 4 weeks old (Siena also wore it). Stefano got me a picture frame that came with clay molds to do foot prints (I did this with Siena at 4 weeks). I took the picture of Siena & Lilli together and then did a foot print of each one to compare 2 year old Siena to 4 week old Lilli.

Good Big Sister

Lilli loves her big sister! She smiles at Siena more than anyone else. Siena is really good with her too. She loves to hold her and love on her. She sings to her every day.

The other day when Lilli was crying, Siena came up to her, gave her a big hug and said "It's okay, I've got you now."

Another cute story: The other day while I was cleaning the kitchen, Lilli was in the swing and Siena was playing with her barn. Siena lined up all of the animals on the floor in front of the swing and held each one up for Lilli to see and told her what each animal was and what sound it makes. She is such a good big sister!

The Kids

These are all of our kids: Garibaldi, Methuselah, Lilli, Siena, & Phebe. This was surprisingly easy to take.

Lilli with Aunt Maggie

Aunt Maggie came up for a visit to see Siena and Lilli. Siena was very jealous of "the Maggie" holding baby Lilli. She laid face down on the rug and pouted until Maggie gave Lilli to someone else. This was the first time Siena has shown any jealousy toward Lilli.

Our New Compost Bin

Stefano has started planning for this year's garden. He found a great new compost bin. Siena had to help him put it together and show off the finished product. She loves to help him add stuff to it and roll it. Methuselah (who is obsessed with destroying all balls) is very interested in it also.

Silly Siena Pictures

Siena loves to play with her Pull-ups. This was her latest trick. We have a few more funnier ones, but we didn't think she would appreciate the naked pictures.

Lilli's First Tub Bath

Lilli's umbilical cord fell off in time for her bath - so she got to experience her first tub bath. She's just like her big sister was - tub baths are much better than sponge baths (although she's still not a huge fan yet). I'm sure it won't be too long before Siena has taught her about swimming in the bath tub and how much fun it is to drink bath water.

Nonna & Papa came to visit this weekend and of course Nonna had to take a bunch of pictures. Here is a random sampling.

Siena Baking

Siena had a chance to bake cookies several times with Gramma & Grampa while they were in town. She mostly liked to eat the batter and the chocolate chips.

These were taken the day Lilli was born. Siena has recently started making silly faces - so of course she had to show off for the camera.

Lilli's First Bath

Lilli's first bath at home went really well. Siena was a great helper! She loves being a big sister and enjoys her own baths - so she was very excited to help with Lilli's (although she kept wondering why we didn't put Lilli in the bath tub).
