We had Trunk or Treat at Mandarin Church of Christ on October 26. There was an amazing turn out. We had lots of people from the community come to it. There were over 20 trunks decorated plus a series of tents set up for a Spook Zone. There were bounce houses too. Stefano was the Grill Master and in charge of cooking all of the hot dogs, our trunk was decorated as a mouth with a gold "grill" of teeth and I was the tooth fairy. Siena was R2D2 and Lilli was Princess Leia. I only put a sampling of the pictures of the trunks. We all had a great time!
Today Siena's CC group had a field trip to the Museum of Science & History (MOSH). They both had a great time. The field trip was to the Planetarium (the girls didn't really enjoy that part too much) but they did have a good time walking around the museum and looking at the animals and exhibits. This was definitely an improvement from when we took them there last year. The big exhibit right now was perfect because it was asteroids and comets and we are currently spending these 6 weeks on astronomy.
Papa, Grampa, Gramma, Nonna, and Great-Grandma gave the girls a swing-set/playhouse as an early Christmas present. They love it!!!!! The first day of homeschool after it was put up, Siena was begging to have school outside. The video is a "thank you" to everyone for the great gift!
