Lilli Cut Her Hair

While Mommy took a nap today, Lilli got bored and decided to cut her own hair.  The second picture is the pile of hair that she cut off.  She gave herself a mullet.  She's not too happy about me taking a picture of it.  She asked if it would grow back like Methuselah's fur grows back.  I told her yes, and I explained that this is not what scissors are to be used for and told her that I would have to make an appointment and hope that we can get it to look decent.  It doesn't look that bad in the pictures but there are some sections around her ears that are pretty short and choppy.

Friends!

Lilli's friend Andrew came over so that his Mom could attend Noah's birthday celebration at preschool.  They were so cute together.  As soon as he got to the house he came in and gave Lilli a big hug and told her that he missed her.  Andrea said that Andrew had been rehearsing what he would say and do on the way to the house.  He told her that he would give Lilli a hug, but not a kiss.  They hugged frequently throughout the afternoon.  They played with trains, princesses and princes (as long as it was Belle and Gaston).  They had lunch together.  After school Andrea brought Siena home and Noah wanted to meet our chicks.  He was great with them.  Andrew was not interested in them (although he did quickly pet one of them and then ran off).

Lilli made up a new song about "Rock & Roll".  She had been singing this for about 30 minutes before I pulled out the camera to record it.

The Chicks are Growing

The chicks are growing.  We moved them out to the chicken coop.  The girls still enjoy playing with them.  This was their first time out and about in the back yard.  Siena made a little nest of grass for them.

Mini Golf

We took the girls to play miniature golf at Mandarin Mill Family Golf.  They had a lot of fun.  We never could get them to hold the clubs correctly or even remotely try to follow the rules.  It was a good family outing.

Fun with Chicks

The girls get to play with the chicks every day.  Lysandra decided to hop up on Lilli's shoulder and up to her head to take a little nap.
