Christmas 2009

I had to work on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, but we were able to celebrate Christmas night and the next day. Siena enjoyed opening her gifts - she had been getting lots of practice leading up to the big day (I could hardly keep her from ripping them open on a daily basis). She loves her new trike!

Our New Tile

We decided to tile the living room and this is the almost finished product. I think we're a little crazy now - but we managed to survive with Siena and 6 dogs. It's going to look great and be so much easier to keep clean with the dogs and Lilli soon to be here.

Siena Playing in Puddle

Siena has recently discovered that she loves to splash in puddles. She was having so much fun that I had to take a video of it.

I Couldn't Resist

I put Siena's hair up in pigtails and I just couldn't resist taking a picture. She looks so cute with her hair up.

Zoo Trip

We went to the Jacksonville Zoo while we were in Florida for Thanksgiving. Siena loves animals. She enjoyed naming all of the animals that she saw. She was able to feed a giraffe, ride on the carousel, and pet the goats.

We aren't the kind of parents who think our kid is unnaturally gifted-But this is one of the first "pictures" she has colored and narrated what she was drawing. Evidently it is a self-portrait. Picass-who?

Halloween 2009

Siena was Raggedy Ann for Halloween this year. We went to a party at the Haselden's and Siena got to go trick-or-treating with her friends. She really enjoyed it, especially walking up all of the stairs and seeing all of the neighborhood dogs.

Siena at Damma & Tampa's House

We also made a trip to Damma & Tampa's house. Siena got to go out in the boat and paddle boat. She spent a lot of time coloring with Damma. She was also put in Sadie's cage by the grandparents (just kidding, she got in on her own and we could hardly keep her out of it).

Siena Visiting Great-Grandparents

One of the side trips we made was to visit Siena's great-grandparents. She enjoyed showing off all of her new tricks.

Montgomery Trip

Stefano had a class in Montgomery, AL. Siena and I went with him. We played at the park and went swimming while Daddy was in class. Siena loved the ducks and played with her new soccer ball a few times. She enjoyed chasing the ducks into the water. She would yell "Go in water, ducks, Go, go, go." She was not a big fan of swimming because it was so cold, but she did ask to go back several times. She also enjoyed playing in the hotel room: she had colors, babies & toys to play with, and a big bed to "jump in the bed" and play under the pillows.

Siena Dancing

Siena loves to dance. We found the toddler tunes station on tv and she loves it. She also loves to go in the garage and dance while Daddy is working is out.

More Fun With Siena!

This was Siena's latest project. She threw most of her videos out so that there was enough room for her to climb in and then closed the door. She was very proud of herself. She did this several more times (except Mommy had to help her get out every time).
