Riverbanks Zoo Trip

A group from Essex Village Church of Christ went to the Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia, SC. Siena & Lilli enjoyed being carried around by their friends Grace, Jordan, & Stephanie. Siena got to see her favorite animals, the giraffes. Lilli sometimes pointed at stuff and gave us her own guided tour. It was a little chilly and rainy, but overall we had a good time. The brown bears gave us a show - they were wrestling when we first walked up, I didn't get a picture because there were so many people around. Siena also got to see the penguins being fed. She also got to ride the merry-go-round.

Patriot's Point, Mount Pleasant, SC

We got a Groupon to go to Patriot's Point in Mount Pleasant, SC. We got to inside a submarine and visit the USS Yorktown and the Medal of Honor Museum. The girls seemed to enjoy it. Stefano & Siena got to do a flight simulation, but Lilli was too young to go on it. One of the pictures is Lilli standing in one of the doorways in the submarine (so you can see how small they are) and another is Stefano, Siena, & Lilli sitting at a table in the dining area of the submarine. We finally did a tourist activity and we've only been here about 4 years.
