Lilli at Gramma & Grampa's

Lilli stayed with Gramma & Grampa while Mommy attended 2 weeks of orientation for her new job.  She had a good time.

Trip to the Zoo

We took the girls to the Jacksonville Zoo.  The girls were able to feed the giraffes and see lots of animals.  The video of the giraffe sniffing a trash wrapper is funny:  it had more of an exaggerated reaction to the wrapper when we first walked up.

Siena's First Day of "4 year old school"

Siena' first day of school at Stepping Stones.  She has been calling it "4 year old school" to make it different from preschool that she went to last year.  She was very excited to go until it was time for me to leave and then she cried.  When I picked her up the teacher told me that she stopped crying after a few minutes.  Siena was not a big fan of school at first:  she told me she had to stand in line too much, the teachers wouldn't let her eat her cookies first at lunch, and she didn't get to play on the playground very long.  Eventually she told me a few positive things:  she likes to play in the kitchen, she played with a little boy from the church we've been visiting, she gets stickers that will earn a prize from the treasure chest.

Museum of Science & History

We took the girls to MOSH.  Siena wanted to see the T. Rex Dinosaur.  They had a good time, but were really excited about the kids play area.  The video is the girls playing on the seesaw.  Siena built a great tower and bridge with the blocks, while Lilli read books.

Brave Big Sister

The girls were watching a movie with a scary part in it.  Lilli crawled up next to Siena and she put her arm around her to keep her from being scared.  She can be a good big sister when she wants to be.
