We went to Trunk-or-Treat at church. My camera decided not to save any pictures so I only have the ones that Nonna took before we left. Siena is Spider Girl, Lilli is a Raindrop Fairy Princess, Mommy was an alien, and Daddy was a pirate. The girls practiced their web slinging skills for the camera. They had a good time: there were 2 jump castles, lots of decorated cars, and prize games inside.
Daddy took the day off of work to spend time with his girls. Mommy had to work the night before, so we spent the afternoon at the zoo after she woke up. The girls wanted to play at the park at the zoo more than anything else, but we did stop to see a few animals along the way.
Lilli has been insisting that she doesn't take naps anymore. I've stopped forcing the naps and just let her fall asleep on her own or in the car on the way to pick up Siena from preschool. Today I laid down for a nap while Siena was at school and let Lilli watch a movie on the Nook. When I woke up this is how I found Lilli. She got her own blanket and fell asleep watching the movie.
Siena got a "big girl princess" bike with training wheels. She's doing really well. She has fallen a few times because she likes to look down at her feet or behind her to see if we are watching her. Lilli got a Dora helmet to wear when she rides her bike. Lilli is also getting better at riding her trike.
