Siena's Stepping Stones Preschool Graduation Program

Siena graduated from Stepping Stones Preschool on May 23, 2013.  The kids did a program for all of the parents.  All of the videos are the songs that they performed.  The pictures are of Siena with her friends Sophia, Lilyana, and Kaley, Siena before the program, Siena after the graduation program in her cap & gown, a picture with her teacher Mrs. Cheri, a picture with Caleb, family picture, picture with both teachers Mrs. Cheri & Mrs. Jessica, with her friends JJ, Caleb, & Addison, and with her music teacher Mrs. Christy.  The songs on the videos are:  He's Got The Whole World in His Hands, Siena & JJ saying their line:  "God called this space sky," Birdies in the Treetop, The Butterfly Song, God Made Me, Jesus Loves the Little Children, He's Still Working on Me, Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam, I Am So Free, Sing a Song of Sunshine, Angels Watching Over Me, the Lord's Prayer, and Changes That I Know.  We are so proud of how much Siena participated in the program.  She has come so far this year.  I mostly took videos during the program, eventually we'll get some pictures from Nonna of the graduation.

Siena Can Read!

Siena's preschool has a Scholastic book sale every few months.  I decided to get her 2 sets of Bob Books to help her gain confidence in reading.  These are the first 2 books in the set.  The book in the second video she has read several times, but the first video is her first reading of it.  She's been working on reading with the book Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons (she's currently on lesson 37).

Lilli Cut Her Hair

While Mommy took a nap today, Lilli got bored and decided to cut her own hair.  The second picture is the pile of hair that she cut off.  She gave herself a mullet.  She's not too happy about me taking a picture of it.  She asked if it would grow back like Methuselah's fur grows back.  I told her yes, and I explained that this is not what scissors are to be used for and told her that I would have to make an appointment and hope that we can get it to look decent.  It doesn't look that bad in the pictures but there are some sections around her ears that are pretty short and choppy.

Lilli's friend Andrew came over so that his Mom could attend Noah's birthday celebration at preschool.  They were so cute together.  As soon as he got to the house he came in and gave Lilli a big hug and told her that he missed her.  Andrea said that Andrew had been rehearsing what he would say and do on the way to the house.  He told her that he would give Lilli a hug, but not a kiss.  They hugged frequently throughout the afternoon.  They played with trains, princesses and princes (as long as it was Belle and Gaston).  They had lunch together.  After school Andrea brought Siena home and Noah wanted to meet our chicks.  He was great with them.  Andrew was not interested in them (although he did quickly pet one of them and then ran off).
