Performing!

Lilli has been belting out songs lately.  A couple of the songs are of Lilli and Siena competing over who can sing the Thanksgiving song.  Lilli also has a new song about never stopping her.

Stepping Stones Thanksgiving Program

Lilli's class performed in the Stepping Stones Thanksgiving Program.  "The First Thanksgiving":  the first video is the 3 year olds "Indians" entering the auditorium, singing "Ten Little Indians", then singing with the 4 year olds, "We Are Indians", "Hurray, It's Thanksgiving Day", "Smells Like Thanksgiving", and "On Thanksgiving Day".  After it was over all of the families enjoyed a lunch together.  We are so proud of how well Lilli did.  I could actually hear her a couple of times (don't know if we can tell in the videos though).  There is a picture of Lilli on the floor with her new friend Tani.  We've heard a lot about Tani, but finally got to meet her today.  We actually live really close to them and will be setting up a play date soon.

Mandarin's Harvest Hoorah

Harvest Hoorah at Mandarin Church of Christ was a huge success. It was meant for family and friends of the members of the church.  There was a hay ride, hay maze, bikes, games, fire pit with smores and devotional, and lots of good food.  Stefano cooked the hot dogs for the kids, boiled peanuts, grilled corn, and also did the devotional.  We all had a great time.

Phases of the Moon

Here is a sample of a homeschool activity.  Siena's science topic is on the phases of the moon.  I found a snack idea on Pinterest (and the worksheet too).  She was so excited to have a snack that went along with her school work.  She also loves to do worksheets instead of just writing and drawing her own pictures.

Playing Games

The girls got 2 card games in a happy meal.  These are videos of the girls playing the games with Daddy.  We have to work on being a good sport, but it's cute to watch how excited they get.
