Get Out of the House Day!

What do you do when you find out last minute that you have to get out of the house for about 3-4 hours?  You go to the zoo.  I'm so glad that we have passes!  Of course Birthday Frog had to come (boy will he have a story to tell).

Lilli's Birthday at Stepping Stones

We brought cookies to Lilli's class at Stepping Stones.  The video is all of the kids singing "Happy Birthday" to her.  She loved it.  Lilli even got to bring home the Birthday Frog for the weekend.  We will journal the fun that we get to have with the frog.  They have already watched a movie together.

Picture of Siena while we were puppy sitting "Puppy Lily".  We finally got the Easy Bake Oven back from Nonna and Poppa's house and this was the first use.  Still not sure why Lilli was crying.

Tree Hill Nature Center

We went on a field trip with our CC group to Tree Hill Nature Center.  The girls got to pet an almost 2 year old alligator, hold baby water turtles, pet a goat, and see some other animals and walk on the trails.  The biggest take home information from the trip was about air potatoes and how they are invasive and smother other plants.  After lunch the kids a group of us walked along one of the trails.  The whole time the kids kept collecting the air potatoes so that they wouldn't take over Tree Hill.  They were upset when we were ready to go and they couldn't go back to find more.  It was so funny.

Bowling

We went bowling with the kids from church:  the Roof's, Ernest's, Bennett's, Ulmer's, and Oldham's.  We all had a great time.

Zoo with Friends

We met Noah and Andrew at the zoo.  Andrew and Lilli were attatched at the hip as soon as they saw each other (which its been over 6 months since the last time that they were together).  We had a good time and it was nice to catch up.  We definitely need to do it more often.  Siena is on "spring break" the next 2 weeks.  We are trying to do some fun things.  She has a field trip next week (be on the look out for more pictures then).
