Our monarch butterfly hatched, but it has a broken wing. It fell right after it hatched - we're not sure if that was the cause or not. The girls have been taking care of it. It keeps trying to fly, but falls immediately. The girls go out there and carefully pick it up and put it back on the milkweed. They are so concerned about it.
On the way home from 3rd Sunday we stopped by to visit Jen and Brett in Auburn. This was the first time that I got to see little Brinley. My girls were wild at their house - running around the back yard playing. Brinley tried to keep up. It was great to see them.
Stepping Stones had a water play day for the 3 year old class. They "painted" the walls with water, had a pie eating contest, had bubbles, side-walk chalk, shaving cream, sprinklers, and water toys. There were popsicles at the end.
