Storytime

Siena was telling quite a story to herself (I only captured a few minutes toward the end, but she was telling a story for almost 20 minutes). Every time she caught us listening she would say it was a scary story and that we shouldn't listen or she would get embarrassed. Finally she let us listen in and ask some questions about the story.

Siena's 4th Birthday

Since we are traveling back and forth to Brunswick, GA every weekend for Stefano to preach, we decided to do a little birthday lunch for Siena at Gramma & Grampa's. Nonna & Papa came up and Nanny was there as well. Siena enjoyed her princess themed afternoon: princess table cloth, cups, plates, pink beads, and a princess ice cream cake. Siena got 3 games for her "I-pad", some Easy Bake Oven mixes, a dress for her Bitty Baby "Samantha Michael", and Gramma made her a Peppa Pig doll.

The Band

The girls decided to form their own band. They used the lids to the pots and pans to make beautiful music. And when they were tired of that, they discovered that they make great shoes! (Great Grandma here is a visual to what you heard in the background).

Christmas 2011

We had a good Christmas in the Mugnaini home. Siena got her Easy Bake Oven and Lilli got a tricycle from Santa. They were both spoiled as usual by grandparents on both sides. We enjoyed watching how excited they both were. Siena even enjoyed watching us open presents.

Tyrone the Elf

Our Elf on the Shelf came to visit again this year. His name is Tyrone. The girls enjoyed getting up and finding him each morning. Sometimes Tyrone just moved to different parts of the living room where the girls couldn't reach him, but he also played with their toys and did funny things around the house. He also joined us on our trip to Gatlinburg. Here are some of the things that Tyrone did: colored a picture for the girls, made ornaments and decorated the felt Christmas tree, made and went fishing in jello, took a shower, had a snowball fight with a doll, cooked, ate some cauliflower and carrots at a little block table that he made, popped out of a decorative present, climbed on top of our rosemary tree, played with Lilli's toy (she was very upset that he was in her toy and playing with the doll because she could not play with those things for a whole day), made a snow angel, got into a stocking, hung Siena's panties on the stockings, and wrote them a Thank You letter that told them he would be back next year.
