Epcot

On Saturday we went to Epcot.  We decided to go to Epcot next because I had read that you could see more princesses there (it was true).  While waiting for the shuttle bus at our hotel we saw a turkey walk across the parking lot.  The girls wanted to take a picture next to the remembrance plaques at the entrance to Epcot.  We rode the Nemo ride and walked through the aquarium and saw manatees, dolphins, sea turtles and lots of fish.  They got to take a picture inside the mouth of a shark.  Then they got to go the Turtle Talk with Crush interactive show (a character from Finding Nemo).  Siena cracked up the whole time - she thought it was hilarious.  Next we went to the World Showcase and walked through the different countries and rode a few rides.  They started a stamps around the world keepsake (they quickly got bored with it after 4 countries).  We rode the Norway and Mexico rides.  They took a picture with the troll after the Norway ride.  We got to see Donald Duck as one of the 3 Caballeros.  We went to China to see Mulan.  Lilli got to sit in her lap for the picture.  Lilli loved seeing all of the characters, as she would walk away she would give them a big hug and then wave as she slowly walked away.  Next we saw Snow White.  Then Belle, when Belle walked up Siena mentioned that she wasn't wearing her pretty dress, and I replied, but she still looks pretty right?  And Siena agreed.  As they were walking up to see her, Lilli fell and I accidently pulled her hair as I was helping her up, so she was crying as she walked up to Belle.  Belle gave her a big hug and she quickly calmed down.  Then Lilli told Belle that Siena said she wasn't pretty.  I quickly explained that Siena mentioned  that she wasn't wearing her pretty dress.  They talked about that for a few minutes.  Belle told Siena that she would look silly all dressed up in that dress in the middle of the day and that this was the dress that she wore throughout most of the movie.  Siena agreed.  Then Lilli pointed out something about Belle's lipstick.  Belle and the photographer thought she was so curious and laughed (the photographer said that she's been called worse).  As we walked away Lilli told Belle that she liked the blue bow in her hair.  Belle said "we're making progress, at least she likes something".  Last character of the day was Mary Poppins.  Then Siena and Daddy rode Soarin and then we all rode the Seeds Tour and Mission Space.  Epcot was Lilli's favorite because we got to see more characters.
