Magic Kingdom
On Friday we went to the Magic Kingdom. When the girls woke up in the hotel room they were surprised to find Tyrone had joined us and was wearing a Mickey Mouse hat (he must have been having a good time riding all of the rides at Disney each night). The girls wore their new princess dresses that they got from Aunt Maggie and Uncle Brian. They wore the dresses periodically throughout the day. We got the picture of the girls in front of Cinderella's castle. There was quite a delay in the reaction from the girls, but they eventually said that they had a really good time. They enjoyed the rides (not the lines and crowd) and loved seeing the princesses (although it took us all day to finally see the princesses, we kept missing them). We rode on a boat, a train, the Dumbo ride, It's a Small World (they were just awe-struck over this one, even though they complained about having to wait in line the whole time), Aladdin's Carpet Ride, Pirates of the Caribbean, the Haunted Mansion (which Lilli burst into tears over as we walked out, it was "too scary"), and Ariel's Under the Sea ride, and then Siena and Daddy got to ride the Stitch ride. We got to see the Mickey Show that some of the princesses briefly appeared in. Siena later told us that we just didn't know that the princesses were going to be in the show. We saw a parade. Finally as we were leaving we made it to where the princesses were. Siena and Lilli were just awe-struck by the princesses as well. I was very proud of Siena for actually talking to them and giving them a hug and taking a picture. She was not very happy about all of the pictures, but she did like seeing the princesses. She got to see Cinderella, Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) and Rapunzel. Each princess talked with them for a few minutes. I think Rapunzel was their favorite on this day. Magic Kingdom was Siena's favorite. Siena & Lilli got to wear Birthday Badges because it was close to their birthday. Everyone in the park went out of their way to say Happy Birthday to them (of course then the girls began informing people that it was NOT their birthday, so we told them to tell people that it was close to their birthday)!
